“I have been visiting the Petosky area of Northern Michigan for almost 40 years, and always had an interest in buying a lakefront property but never acted on the impulse. Opportunity arose last year, and after visiting Café Sante several times, started thinking about Boyne City. As an experienced real estate appraiser and broker, I have developed a keen sense of knowing what I don’t know. And while I am able to analyze a market from afar, I still can’t replicate the knowledge of one who lives and works within that market. I feel fortunate to have found such a person in Tara Belford. As a life-long resident she has knowledge of the various communities that make up this incredible part of Michigan; the vendors and service providers an “outsider” needs to consult from time to time; and the motivation and energy to make things happen.
She is also a personable and charming individual who after a short time seems like someone you’ve known forever.
I consider myself a harsh grader within my profession. I give this young lady an “A”, and along with that my hearty recommendation as your agent for buying or selling within Tara’s market area.

“the purchase of my up north cabin became very difficult with the underwriter and the bank because of the private road and other legal issues, but Tara got it done. she is super friendly and always called me back right away.
