Blissfest Folk and Roots Mini-Concert Series ~ Petoskey

“Áithes” means “joy” in Old Irish, and this quartet takes great joy in sharing music with our community!  They each come from a unique background of instrumental music, song, and dance.  Their paths crossed due to a shared love of Irish traditional and other Celtic-influenced musical styles. Hannah Harris and Ruby John combine their fiddle backgrounds to form a powerhouse duo, while multi-instrumentalist Stephanie Cope weaves her skills into melodic and harmonic accompaniment for a versatile effect. Dancer and singer, Katie O’Connor, completes the group with her fiery footwork on tunes and wide repertoire of Irish love songs. Come share in their joy!
